One of Florida's best kept secrets and up and coming rapper, writer, and producer who goes by "JG" or Josh Genson. Josh was born in Detroit, MI. From the age of 10 he spent most of his life staying close to the streets of Port St. Lucie, Fl. His affinity for music began at the young age of 3. He was playing the saxaphone at age 7 and writing his own music at 9. His first rap song, on racism, was published in his 5th grade yearbook. His passion for music was fueled by the many challenges and close personal losses he's suffered throughout the years. His first album featured two HIV/AIDS awareness messages, "Feel It In The Air" and "You Gotta Know". The Center for Disease Control and the Florida State Health Department are currently using this music to reach young people across the state and nation and to help raise awareness and prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS. JG has shot a commercial for "Feel It In The Air" which was aired on Comcast. He also shot a music video for "Feel It In The Air" which aired on BET and Fox.
