Joseph Bradshaw (born July 16, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter. Growing up in Central Florida, Bradshaw grew up to the sounds of his grandparents' mountain music. He spent much of his childhood traveling the south with them, tagging along to old-time music, bluegrass and clogging competitions. After studying art in college, he travelled to California where he split his time as a guitarist and photographer. In 2016, he relocated to Nashville. In his first year in Nashville, Bradshaw played the Ryman, shared the bill with Foster the People, Margaret Glaspy and The Secret Sisters, and he was featured at the Bluebird Cafe. Joseph Bradshaw put out his first full length, Yucca Gold, in 2016. It featured producer John Spiker (Steve Earle, Beck, Pete Yorn and James McAlister (Sufjan Stevens, The Album Leaf). In 2017, he was back with a second album, On Record. Recorded over the course of two nights with old friend and producer Mark Pontius (Foster the People), the songs of the previous year were recorded simply with only guitar and voice. For Christmas of 2017, he released Wait Till After Christmas, a holiday breakup song sung in duet with Nikki Lane. Read more on Last.fm.
