Established in 2020, JJ Sterry is a British musical project featuring John 'Gaoler' Sterry and his long time foil, George Ackerley. They create a sound which fuses intimately spoken verses with lush choruses and vintage synths. John Sterry has toured extensively as lead singer in later incarnations of British post-punk icons, Gang Of Four, featuring as a vocalist on all of their releases since 2014.
