Dallas, TX (2004 - present) JadedPain is an electronic music group consisting of American musician Donald Maurer (born December 20, 1968). JadedPain uses computer and electronic technology to create what some call the best techno and trance music since Daft Punk, and draws heavily on the influences of Daft Punk, U2, and Pink Floyd. The first official CD, Rapped In Rhyme was released on October 29, 2009, under the self-managed label JadedPain Productions, and has been credited with four Platinum Auddy awards by Uplaya as potential platinum winning compositions. Early years (1985–2004) Donald Maurer began recording under the band name Crisis in the Western New York State area. Some Assembly Required was released as a demo album in 2001 and featured guitars and keyboards with modified amplifiers and homemade effects.
