Ivyan (English name: Ivyan Yan; traditional Chinese: 嚴藝丹; simplified Chinese: 严艺丹; pinyin: Yán Yì Dān) was born on October 15, 1982 in Gulou District of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. She is an actor, singer, music producer, lyricist, and composer, graduated from The Central Academy of Drama (China). She came into the limelight in 2011 when her song "Three Inches of Heaven" (三寸天堂) became the theme song for the Chinese television series "Scarlet Heart" (步步驚心).
