iswallowedneworleans was a post-hardcore band from bel air maryland that started off in late 2008 as devon lawless, anthony lupacchino, luke nadeau, shane wilson, and jackson baria. they recorded one song together called "the greatest torso in football" using audacity and a shitty microphone. matt kowalewski and matt reilly joined in early 2009 devon lawless was kicked out in march 2009. after this, the band fell apart leaving just matt kowalewski and devon lawless rejoined. the two man group went for a heavier sound. they recorded two songs "super swampers" and "chick nugs and 'nilla coke" (a new version of greatest torso) they were mainly joke songs. the project fell apart in late summer 2009 as the two members moved onto new bands. Devon now plays for On Alaska www.myspace.com/onalaskaband with ex-members Anthony Lupacchino and Shane Wilson. Matt now plays for Release the Wolves.
