International Peoples Gang is a trip hop / ambient project of Martyn Watson and Ric Peet, which also includes assorted musical / spiritual contributors.
The name comes from a track called Panic In Detroit by David Bowie from his album Aladdin Sane.
He sings "... the only survivors of the National Peoples Gang".
Martyn Watson figured that the gang should be international.
The concept of IPG is that it is a club that one is born into and to apply to leave rather than join.
