Ilya Gringolts was winner of the 1998 International Violin Competition “Premio Paganini”, he was awarded two special prizes for the youngest ever competitor to be placed in the final and the best interpreter of Paganini’s Caprices. He has performed with orchestras including The Los Angeles Philharmonic, National Symphony of Washington, The Philadelphia and Chicago Symphony, London Symphony, Saint Petersburg Philharmonic and Israel Philharmonic.
