I Promised The World (f.k.a.Sinema) is a screamo/post-hardcore band from Denton, Texas. The current band line-up is Caleb Molina (Vocals, rhythm and lead guitar), Hunter Wilson (Unclean & clean vocals), Mason Nowlin (Lead and rhythm guitar), Rivers Shutt (Bass), and Mason Zschau (Drums). Aidan Vickers was the bass player from 2023-2025, then at some point left the band and was replaced with Shutt. Their current name (I Promised The World) is taken from a Saosin lyric, specifically from the song Translating the Name "I promised the world and a dozen roses" When asked about the name change, Wilson said “Basically our lawyer told us it would be a good idea, and he also said that we wouldn’t get signed to a big label without making that change,” <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/I+Promised+The+World">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
