Jonathan Larsson and Carl-Oscar Andersson became friends at just six years of age, and after a variety of different projects, they founded I Am Nova in 2012. Shortly after, they debuted with the album This Is I Am Nova, and made themselves known as an energetic live act, where the duo brought in four other musicians to perform on stage. With influences from british/american pop/rock, inspired by everything in between The Beatles and Imagine Dragons, I Am Nova’s melodious and effective poprock has successfully charmed the Scandinavian listeners and is frequently played on Swedish radio.
