Groupshow is the new collaborative project from three of Germany's most respected electronic musicians; Jan Jelinek aka Farben, Hanno Leichtmann aka Static and Andrew Pekler of Sad Rockets. Their combined sound is broken down from some 200 Gigabytes of improvised jam sessions and kneaded into a cohesively abstract whole with elements of each player occassionally surfacing, only to be masked and absorbed back into the amorphous mass. Utilising an array of low quality effects pedals with various instrumentation Groupshow have an endearingly lo-fi but highly skilled sound that's quaintly enchanting. Highly recommended.
