Gotu Jim is Dutch pop and rap artist, Jim Lageveen (born Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 1997). Lageveen started producing beats with his friend and partner in crime, IJsbrand van Eerdenburg, who 'til this day produces Gotu Jim's peculiar blend of hiphop and electronic pop, with trademark heavy use of auto-tune. Having gained some prominence on the Dutch music scene with the track 'Tweede Klas Shit' (2018), Jim released his full-length début album, Tweede Klas on Burning Fik Records in 2018. It was followed by Generatie K in 2019. Gotu Jim continued to release singles throughout the 'Covid-19 years', but it took him a few years to come up with his third full-length album, which finally dropped in January 2023, entitled Niet Geslapen Wel Gedoucht, once again thru Burning Fik Records. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Gotu+Jim">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
