Gatto Ciliegia contro il grande freddo is an italian instrumental indie rock band formed in Turin in 1999 formed by Fabio Perugia, Max Viale e Gianluca Della Torca. Their sound combines different tendencies and style, expecially electronic music and post-rock. The omonimous "Gatto Ciliegia Vs Il Grande Freddo" also known as #1 was their first release. "Attimi" and "Psichedelicat" are the best example of their fusion between acoustic and electronic (digital or analogue) sounds just like the combination of computer-generated drums and tipical post-rock guitars and synthesizers voice sampling. In 2000 they recorded their second album "#2" which represent the improvement of their sound. A five-track Ep named "It Is" released in 2002 which contains "Sequenza del fiore di carta", a Tribute to Pierpaolo Pasolini.
