Fun Patrol was the re-formed James King and the Lone Wolves. They formed in 1987 and lasted until late 1988. They released one 12' single 'Right To Be Wrong' (2 songs on the B-side No Concern of Mine and Meant to Fall)The band were as follows:
James King - Vocals, Guitar
Ian Reid - Guitar, Vocals
Joe Sullivan - Guitar
Steven Gray -Drums
There was no bass player in the original Fun Patrol, just three guitars and drums. Although live reviews were brilliant, the band faded into obscurity by the late 1980's.
James King is a legendary talent from Glasgow, The Lone Wolves and the Fun Patrol were both brilliant live bands, great songs, blistering attacks on the senses! James King found all the Fun Patrol from other Glasgow bands, Ian Reid and Joe Sullivan were both in a Glasgow band called Learning Italian and drummer Steven Gray played with several Glasgow bands like The Boy Hairdressers and Moroccan Coco.
