Fools Banquet is a songwriting retreat held by Hanson for their musician friends. Attendees in the past have included Sandra McCracken, Bleu, Dan Haseltine of Jars of Clay, Carrick of Everybody Else, Stephen Kellogg of Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers, Jesse and Kai of Locksley, Jason Mraz, Zac Maloy, To Have Heroes, Pat McGee of the Pat McGee Band, Kate Voegele, Adam Green, "Weird Al" Yankovic and more. Resulting collaborative rough recordings have been tagged under the blanket name of "Fools Banquet," though some have ended up on actual albums of the artists in question, in which case, they would be tagged as such.
