Flooding the Silence are a 4 piece band from Ipswich / Colchester in England, they combine diverse influences ranging from 90s britpop, indie, heavy rock, electronic and ambient music to create an eclectic and modern sound. Flooding the Silence have been gigging since March 2008 while recording 2 demos to showcase their sound, coming in the top 20 finalists for the Jamie Olvier Unsigned competition with their self produced demo of Midnight. In late 2008/ early 2009 the band recorded and self produced their debut album "Chase The Sun" which showcases their songs while adding to their sound by adding layers of synths and strings.
