Eye of the Butterfly are an alternative rock band hailing from glorious Nottingham. Due to the breakdown of previous projects, Matt and Lewis decided that they wanted to form a heavier band with more modern influences than those of their previous band. After a few stoned jam sessions to find their sound and for Matt to adjust to playing guitar, they felt that the time was right to recruit a vocalist. Sian was an obvious choice for a singer, as Matt and Lewis had spoken on many past occasions about forming a side project with her. With each member bringing their own different influnces to the table; Lewis with his dirty grunge (Seether, Nirvana), Matt's metalcore obsession (Exit Ten, 36 Crazyfists) and Sian's gypsy tendancies (Bon Iver, Dallas Green), we would describe our sound as something agressive and heavy, but beautiful all the same. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Eye+of+the+Butterfly">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
