Dennis Siggery- Vocals
Dennis became interested in music at very early age. At just sixteen he joined a band called "The Five Diamonds" as lead vocalist and they played a number of local gigs and youth clubs. He stayed with the band for a few years before taking up a career as a DJ in an R&B club playing Blues and Soul music.
He did what most of us do, got married, got a "proper" job and let music take a back seat but by 1996 he had the urge to sing again and with the help of few friends he formed "The Acoustic Blues Band". They played bars and clubs and recorded one album, "Our Kind of Blues" Half covers, half originals.
Dennis got hooked on recording and decided to try a solo album. In between playing in pubs he teamed up with a band called Van Dame which was a rock band. He ended up making seven! The albums turned out to be basically Rock music all except the last one "Back to Blue" which began to hint at a future direction.
Dennis got tired of rock and went back to the good old blues. His band did a demo. He than asked the producer if might come back and record a song he had written. From that song, 5 albums came . Dennis composed all the songs with the help of the producer.
In 1999 "The Acoustic Blues Band" became "The Southside Blues Band". This band were together in various line-ups for nearly a decade playing pubs, clubs and festivals but only recorded two albums.
The guy that gave the Southside Band its' first big break, died suddenly and Dennis wanted to pay his respects by writing a song about his life.
He went into "No Machine Studios" to record one song and with the help of producer Neil Sadler came out with three albums!
The two of them decided to get some musicians together and form a band.
So was formed The Eric Street Band. The band played a couple of local gigs, one of which was recorded live and an album was made.
Following the success of this, they were asked to support "The Animals" at The Wallingford Blues Festival in 2009.
The last two years have seen the band in prolific form, recording three studio albums.
"The Route to The Blues", "The Journey" and just released - "The Drifter."
This year sees the band back on the road again.

REVIEW from Blues in Britain.. The JOURNEY is the Eric Street Band's third album. It sees a return to the studio album. Eric Street live . Breaking from the formula of previous albums, Eric Street Band have peppered this one with a few surprises, most notably a ukulele. Not even this can scuff the surface of filthy, nightclub blues that covers The Journey. On Mr Blue , the wah-wah pedal is put to good use. Neil Sadler pours dirty jazz sounding blues out of his guitar like whiskey from a bottle. The rest of the band expertly contributes to the archetypal blues man. The title track tells the story of the blues entry into mainstream, though bands like Cream, Led Zeppelin and theAnimals. In doing so it also name checks a number of blues influences. Softer tracks like Carboard City and Hey Suzie show the band's social conscience, Sadler effortlessly finger-picking heart strings and classical guitar alike. But it's on stories of penniless, womanless tax dodging like The Tallyman the the band are in their element, melding harsh bottleneck slide with fuzz-box distored harmonica. Not for the faint of heart or clear of head. The Journey is a masterpiece of punchy, tobacco-stained blues.
