Ella Jones, singer songwriter, Born 1982 in London, daughter of a musician and chef. -Started playing piano age 4, singing age 10, and studied music at school to a-level. -Age 18 wrote and produced an album, Planetella, on Dad’s computer. Printed 200 copies and sold to fri ends and family. Hustler! -Also around this time started gigging, have played at most London venues, Jazz Café, Ronnie Scotts, Rhythm Factory, 93feeteast, Woody’s, Cobden Club, Spice of life, Mau Mau, to name a few. -In 2002 co-produced a house tune called ‘Summer Candy’, with two friends. We pressed it onto white label and promoted it in London and Ibiza, doing pa’s at Red Cube(London), Kanya(Ibiza), Bar M(Ibiza) and Sugar Sea(Ibiza). -In 2003 went to Ibiza and performed my tracks at Guarana(Santa Eularia) and the Mao Rooms(Ibiza Town), I also appeared on Ibiza radio. -Ella then went on to work with various producers at Ice-pr, a management company, to develop her sound. She eventually hooked up with Joe Barboza (aka Donn Lo) and in each other they found musical soulmates. -With Joe, she went into the studio(Club Ralph) and started working on her album.
