Born in N. Ireland in 1986, he was always surrounded by music. His father played in folk and country bands (mainly in Belfast) during the 1970s, right through until today. It was with his father that Dom would gain his first musical experiences. Dom was encouraged during his teenage years to pick up the guitar and learn to play, and since then he has gone on to play the guitar, bass, banjo and mandolin. Dom was 18 when he played his first gig at a local pub, and over the next 6 years, he cut his teeth on the N. Ireland pub folk circuit. In August 2009, Dom moved from N. Ireland to Edinburgh and pursued various (fruitless) musical projects. Jump forward to August 2013; Dom upped sticks and returned to his native N. Ireland.
