Delta Files was created by Ambient/Techno/IDM DJ Olivier Moreau whose previous stage name was Cerebral Strobosonic Spiral. In August of 1995 he recorded his first and only album under his then-curent stage name known as Body Bags. It was recorded in his home in Antwerp, Belgium in which it tooked him nearly two months to compose and perform the album. Unlike his previous works that revolves around the psychoanalysis of human existence in an acidic Technoid-Industrial fashion, Body Bags pinpointed the realms of self-destruction and a surreal apocalyptic vision of terror that will never be resolved in any way. When it was picked by Belgian IDM/Ambient label Re-load Ambient (a budget label of Re-load Records) only 500 copies were ever sold on a CD and LP format in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. That would evantually allow Moreau to play in a handful of small gigs in and outside of Belgium the following year - only an average of 1,500 people would attend to his live gigs when he was promoting Body Bags. He returned home in May 1996 to record his EP Acpklenc which tooked him nearly three weeks to record the EP. Although it had the same dark melody as Body Bags, this time it had a slightly fast-paced rhythm in terms of creating an IDM/Technoid-Industrial soundscape with the same musical themes as its preceeding release. Again the album was kindly picked up for releasing by another sub-label of Re-load known as Re-load Unlimited. It was only released on a 12" vinyl format with over 500 copies sold in Belgium alone. Moreau's relationship with Re-load soon soured when he wanted to change a different stage name but his label asked him to record a several more albums under his current name, the creativity between him and the label would not meet up with expectations any longer when Moreau severed ties with Re-load and shortly thereafter, he went on to change a several stage names including: Imminent Starvation (which was his first stae name) and Imminent in which he remains under that name today. Read more on Last.fm.
