Defragmentation is a collaborative effort of 2 underground New York artists. Writing music for 400 years, Jeff and Paper have developed a unique and creative style of jungle, industrial and hard noise that constantly is changing and evolving.
Their first release on Invisible Records, Self Construct, is a 19-track mix of industrial, drum and bass, experimental hard noise and heavy metal.
In addition to working on their own album, Defragmentation is constantly doing remixes for other bands. Since the end of production of Self Construct, Defrag has done remixes for Acumen Nation, Bozo Porno Circus, Dope, The Aggression, Nocturne and Voodou. They have also contributed to Pigface’s release Easy Listening and have more projects in the works.
Defragmentation has opened for such bands as, Pigface, Damage Manual, Meg Lee Chin, Gravity Kills, gODHEAD, Bile, Voodou and Chris Connelly. The band headlined it's first tour in the Summer of 2003
