Dazzle Ships features Tyler of Twin Lion “fame” and his girlfriend Hatii De Leon, and while couples in a band is often a bad idea, relationship-wise (just look at Fleetwood Mac), it does often make for pretty awesome music (just look at Fleetwood Mac). Dazzle Ships’ music is less murky than that of Twin Lion. The icy and endearingly amateur vocals, pitched somewhere between Satomi Deerhoof and Claire Grogan, soar over spiky guitar lines to make some thing lovely Dazzle Ships is also the name of a band formed in Aarhus, Denmark 2006 by drinking buddies Dennis B, Morten L and Filip G. They used to meet once a week and talk about their trouble with women and love in general. But as the typical men they are, they couldn´t talk about their problems - so they usualy sat in silence. Dennis B, though, had written a couple of songs adressing his girl trouble - a what better way to get them "out of the system" than to force Morten L and Filip G to play them with him.
