Darja Kazimira is a Latvian avant-garde vocalist, improviser, composer, multi-instrumentalist, artist, and creator of the project of the same name. The main point of Darja Kazimira project creative search is the ritual (mainly burial, funeral traditions; cults of the ground, sacred violence), and the comprehension of its space and properties. A special place in the concept of the project is occupied by the study of the construction of sacred and hierophonic space, and their relationship with thanatology, criminology, anthropology, psychiatry, and ethnography.
