Daniel Gabriel Alessandro Saucedo Grzechowski (born February 25, 1986 in Södermalm, Stockholm, Stockholms Län) is a Swedish singer and songwriter, often presented just as Danny. Danny competed in Idol 2006, the Swedish version of Idol, where he finished 6th. His debut album Heart Beats and the three singles "Tokyo", "Play It for the Girls" and "Radio" topped the Swedish charts.
Danny is also simultaneously a member of Swedish pop trio E.M.D. with Erik Segerstedt from Idol 2006 and Mattias Andréasson from Idol 2007. The trio has released three albums and eight singles (of which one album and four singles topped swedish charts). They released their album "A State of Mind" in May 2008, with the three singles "All for Love", "Jennie, Let me love you" and "Alone" all hitting number one. The band won a Grammis for Song of The Year 2008 with "Jennie Let Me Love You".
Danny has competed in Melodifestivalen (the Swedish selection for Eurovision Song Contest) twice, both times as both artist and songwriter. In 2009, E.M.D. finished third with "Baby Goodbye", and as a solo artist he finished second in 2011 with "In the Club". In Melodifestivalen 2011, he won the 1st semi final and was qualified for the final that was held on March 12, 2011 and came second in votes to the winning song "Popular" by Eric Saade. Danny garnered 149 points to Saade's 193 points. Danny presented the Swedish votes at Eurovision 2011.
As a songwriter, he has composed songs for Alcazar and Pulse. He released his third solo album, "In The Club" on March 11th, 2011.
Danny was a contestant on the television show Let's Dance 2008 (Swedish version of Dancing With The Stars). In September 2008, Saucedo along with professional dancer Jeanette Carlsson took part in the Eurovision Dance Contest 2008. The couple place 12th in the final on September 6 in Glasgow.
