San Francisco musician Mikey Sanders has spent much of the past year under the moniker Blackbird Blackbird, crafting dreamy, synth-laden dance pop gems. But dude cannot be contained to just one moniker. "Eugene," the first song that Sanders has dropped under the new name, immediately sets itself apart from Sanders' previous work--It explodes with Afropop rhythm and energy, rocking jangly guitars, sunny-as-hell keys and some boisterous vocals.
