There are 2 artists named Cogent: 1) Cogent is a 4-piece from Southern New Hampshire. Though as of yet unsolicited, they have released one indie EP and are in the works of a more produced re-make. The band is a dynamic showcase for many of the members, who have a wide spectrum of experience, from acoustic worship to death metal. The resulting finds itself somewhere in the ballpark of a 'Angels and Airwaves' with a little more crunch and acoustic structure. Cogent has played various venues along the east coast, but can most frequently be seen in New Hampshire's Rockingham/Hillsborough area. Simon is the man 2) Cogent is an electronica-project of canadian filmscore composer Adam Lastiwka.
