Chankas is the autoral work of Fernando Cappi, guitarrist of sextet Hurtmold and also one of musicians who accompany a Marcelo Camelo (ex-Los Hermanos) in solo career. In Chankas, Fernando presents his compositions and conceptually maintains the assumptions of their native band, not restricted to genres and aesthetic directions, but goes in different directions. Here, there is a predominance of cords, with an air songbook, often reaching to sound folk. Released his first album "Chankas" in 2010 independently, being very well received by critics.
