In 2004, Chileans Nicolas GUTIERREZ[keys, voice] and Ricardo LIRA[bass, percussion] came together to form a musical unit during a trip to Machu Picchu, Peru, and were soon joined by guitarist Jorge RUBIO, drummer Carlos BRICENO and multi-instrumentalist Emilio PIZARRO as well as several other members. Finally, in a strange twist, the band ended up in 2008 a much-changed group from the original lineup. Bassist LIRA & sax/flautist PIZARRO along with synthesist Felipe CHOUPAY and drummer Carlos SOUTULLO with a few others recorded their debut 'Pasion, Panico, Locura e Muerte'[Passion,Panic,Madness&Death]. The album is a startling throwback to the earlier avant-garde scenes in rock and is played with both authenticity and skill. Passion,Panic,Madness and Death, indeed, and the CD has been very well received in Prog circles, even being nominated for a 2009 Prog Award.
