Brain Hiroshima were an experimental teenage indie rock band formed in Wolverhampton in 1999. The five piece comprised of Fidel Villeneuve (Guitar, Programming, Vocals), Brian Hiroshima (Samples, Vocals), Dean Allen (Bass), Mike Prior (Drums) and Matthew Vanderhoek (Noise Guitar). Their sound mixed ragged rock riffs with bursts of electronic noise and secondhand jungle beats, courtesy of an Akai S-900 sampler with 1MB of memory.
