Biography
"Black Sparrow Press is a band from San Pedro, California. It all started with Adam Edward Roy playing acoustic left handed guitar (he couldn't afford an electric one yet) and Danny Boy on a bucket (he wouldn't and still couldn't afford anything!). This was mid 2007. They played a bunch of shows drunk. VERY drunk. They recorded an E.P. called "Beat Punks!" (8 songs, i think) in 2008. They played more shows, they got more drunk. They recorded the album ". <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Black+...Read more on Last.fm

They recorded the album "...Embarked on a Tremendous Season." in 2009. Around this time Christopher Peter James was hanging around and played on a couple tracks on that album. They joined forces and he became apart of the band. The band now consisted of 2 acoustic guitars, a bucket, and sometimes danny played a ukulele he aquired somewhere. more shows followed...
Somehow Danny got an actual drumset for $60.00! (he didn't the whole 60) and Adam & Chris got electric guitars with amps as well. BSP then got a bassist. His name was Tubby. They played a bunch of shows through out '09. Tubby left because he liked playing soccer. A LOT!
So, BSP asked Joey C. if he wanted to play bass. Joey said yes. Then in later 2010 they recorded "Half-Ass Romance" at Cali Mucho Studios, and released it in summer 2011. Geykido Comet Records (Las Vegas) and 45RPM (San Pedro) were cool enough to help. Come and party with them sometime!
