Newcastle/Edinburgh, United Kingdom Ben Barker (born January 1st, 1990 as Ben Gell) is an English singer-songwriter from the North-East of England. Gell was born in Middlesbrough, and is currently studying at University. He began writing his own songs at the about the age of 12, and has recorded a demo album of covers. During his time at school, Benjamin recorded a variety of songs to help out school friends with "accompaniment" vocals including Duets on "A Whole New World", "The Phantom of the Opera" & a few songs from "Moulin Rouge" such as "Come What May" & "Elephant Love Medley" (Needless to say his voice has technically improved greatly since then).
