Ben Houge is a composer who has produced the soundtrack for the computer RPG Arcanum. The soundtrack is available for download at Terra Arcanum (mp3 and in lossless quality). He has also composed music for several well known games including King's Quest: Mask of Eternity and Leisure Suit Larry 7. Ben has been designing audio for videogames since 1996, spending seven years at Sierra On-Line and four years at Ubisoft. He recently spent three and a half years as audio director of Tom Clancy’s EndWar, released in November 2008 for Xbox 360 and PS3. Ben has lived in Shanghai, China, since 2004, where he has been active in the experimental sound art community, performing at the Shanghai eArts Festival, the 2Pi Festival, the Zendai Museum, D-22, and Brainwave Communication. In November 2008, Ben Houge & 99 Men released the rock’n’roll EP 3 Heart-Shaped Cookies. He is currently working on a new album of synth-pop songs called Shanghai Travelogue.
