B A R was a Latvian-British instrumental rock project exploring the heavier and darker side of drone, psychedelia and experimental music. Originating in Bradford, United Kingdom in late 2008, the sound grew out of initial rehearsals and the project expanded to encompass the band's dual homelands. With members and gigs opposite sides of Europe, the band has played in the United Kingdom, Latvia, Estonia & Lithuania supporting bands such as Humanfly, Magnapinna, Elkupe and Liblikas. With guitar, bass and drums at its core, additional instrumentation has been occasionally incorporated into the setup.
