The time is now. Royal scouts have been sent to search the skies and stars for the infamous quadrangle shaped stylings of the AstroChemist. Their 3 month musical meditation period is almost over, the time is ripe to tear through the proverbial cocoon of inward self-cultivation: they emerge battered and bloody from the mouths of various caves, coves and crevices of their sabi searching. Once again the individual manifestations of the Chemist have been united, this time to create an EP. So relax upon your couch, dentist chair or beanbag (if that's how you choose to live your life) and enjoy... Astrochem is a Canberra-based psychedelic/nu-funk group, who have been tearing up the local music scene with their original sound and charismatic stage antics. They have recently emerged from their exile with their debut EP in hand: IO. A musical monster, it combines the raw energy of their live show with the musical mastery the four-piece possess.
