Angelika Express is a German band from Cologne formed in 2003 by Robert Drakogiannakis (vocals, guitar), Jens Bachmann (bass guitar) and Alex Jezdinsky (drums). In 2005 the band took a break. Drakogiannakis worked on his project Planetakis while Bachmann and Jezdinsky worked on their group Overschmidt. In 2008, Robert Drakogiannakis released 17 new songs for free download on their website. The band reformed around Robert with Dani Hilterhaus (LiLi) as bass player, Mirco "Caddy" Cardeneo (Casanovas Schwule Seite, The Wohlstandskinder, Schrottgrenze) as drummer. The trio started playing these songs on stage. Soon, they are going to release a new album with a new concept, which can be supported by fans in the role of shareholders.
