Almir Ribeiro (born in Dec 9, 1935 as Aldimir Torres Ribeiro in São João da Boa Vista/SP) was primarily a TV and Radio artist, making his option for the singer career very late on his short life. Almir would probably be one of the greatest Brazilian artists from the decades to come, but unfortunately his life was taken very early and tragically at the age of 22 (Feb 18, 1958) in Punta del Este, Uruguay, drowned at the beach. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Almir+Ribeiro">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
