Alexei Zakharov ( Nizhny Novgorod , 5 September 1984 ) is a Russian disc jockey and record producer , best known for his music of X (video game series) : X²: The Threat , X³: Reunion , X³: Terran Conflict and X: Rebirth , space simulators developed by the German company Egosoft . He worked in the music industry for more than 14 years and received no musical education: he learned everything on his own, from the musical basics of harmony and audio engineering to the depths of sound physics. At the age of 12 he began his understanding of "electronic music bases" and built a small studio at home with all the necessary hardware to compose and record any kind of music. He also tried many musical genres: from nu-metal to trance , new age and even neoclassical pieces recorded with the classical orchestra.
