2kilos &More is a french duo from Paris created in 2003. The press talk about them as a subtle mix between ambient-electronica (Warp), post-rock (Labradford) because of the constant but measured use of melodic guitars and acoustic instruments (like bass, drum, sensula..) with experimental influences (Zoviet*France). The new album "kurz vor5", out in May 2012, is produced by the legendary Norscq (The Grief, Colder, Von Magnet…) with vocals collaboration from Black Sifichi (who worked with Black Dog, Burnt Friedman, Simon Fisher Turner, Rodolphe Burger…) and Phil Von (Von Magnet) and is recorded by audiophob (Germany). www.audiophob.de http://2kilosandmore.bandcamp.com/ New live visual creation: 2kilos &More is back on stage in 2011. This time, they invited Lisa May, an australian videast (working with Von Magnet) and Black Sifichi to join them on tour. Really more than just diffusing images on a back screen, Lisa May’s work is projected on a scrim (transparent screen) in front of the stage, on the musicians and at the back. Videos are prepared or improvised in live. The visuals effects surround the band, bringing it in another dimension, and transport the audiance in a different reality.
