The pair originally worked together on Cudi's 2009 hit Day 'N' Nite. Originally the duo were going to be called Wizard, but in April 2011 Cudi explained during a show at New York City's Roseland Ballroom Kid that he changed the name of the band to "2 Be Continuum" as, "I needed something more original, something different, but it's still wizardry at its finest." Their debut single is Perfect Is The Word, which was released on May 31, 2011.
