0cadavernamedAlison0 started out as playing a cross between shoegaze and metalcore, and released one demo playing that style. Years went by, and they they switched to "grindgaze", across between shoegaze and grindcore. In 2012 they released an EP called "it. is. not." (on 37564 recordings bandcamp page), an homage to My Bloody Valentine's "Isn't Anything" in name and album cover art. In fact, the song titles are also homages to their favorite shoegaze bands of past and present ("i bury strangers in brooklyn", for example, a tribute to A Place To Bury Strangers). Later that same year, a full length was released entitled "pinkshinyhyperblast". The title being an homage to Astrobrite, with a cover paying tribute to the Slowdive classic Souvlaki. 2013 brought the release of 0cadavernamedAmyblue0.
