The Bloomsbury Set were a New Wave/Pop band from the Midlands of England. They were active from 1980 - 1983. The Bloomsbury Set released 4 singles; 'This Year, Next Year' (b-side 'The Other Side Of You') (1980) 'Sweet European' (b-side 'Version') (1981) 'Hanging Around With The Big Boys (b-side 'Getting Away From It All') (1982) 'Dress Parade' (b-side 'Serenade') (1983). The band consisted of Andy Lloyd (vocals), Gary Lloyd (bass guitar), Paul Faulkner (guitar), Jim Simpson (drums).
