Green Desert Water ~ Oviedo Spain Hard Rock/Blues/Psychedelic Rock Facebook Bandcamp Members: Juan Arias García - Bass Guitar, Kike Sanchís - Guitar & Lead Vocals & Hernmann Dust - Drums Green Desert Water is a "power trio" with influences of rock, blues and psychedelia of the '60s and '70s, characterized by long development and minimalist sound (guitar, bass and drums) that does not detract one iota from strength to her songs. The band was formed during the year 2008 by Juan Arias (bass) and Kike Sanchis (guitar, vocals) composing the first songs of the band. Throughout the years they have participated in various competitions such as the end of the Bilborock or demo competition Top 40 of Asturias and have even played abroad giving a pair of concerts in Portugal in February 2013. Besides his Ep was chosen as demo of the month October 2011 issue of "Total Guitar" and the number of January 2012 of the magazine "Total Battery", including the songs "Purple Sun" and "Mountains" CD that accompanies to magazines. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Green Desert Water es un “power trio” con influencias del rock, blues y psicodelia de los 60 y 70, caracterizada por largos desarrollos y sonido minimalista (guitarra, bajo y batería) que no resta ni un ápice de fuerza a sus canciones. La banda se forma a lo largo del año 2008 por Juan Arias (bajo) y Kike Sanchís (guitarra, voz) que componen los primeros temas de la banda. A lo largo de estos años han participado en varias finales de concursos tales como el Bilborock o el concurso de maquetas de 40 Principales de Asturias e incluso han tocado en el extranjero dando un par de conciertos en Portugal en Febrero de 2013.
