Drive Like I Do is the predecessor band for The 1975. The band existed from 2005 until 2007. The band formed in February 2005 by Adam and played their first gig (a set of covers) at a MYB in Macclesfield two days later (the gig was actually booked before they had a drummer). They were received very well and all five guys decided to take things seriously (the idea had originally been just for the one show). A couple of months later and Drive Like I Do (or Me and You vs Them at the time) started to write original material and since then have recorded two 4 track demos, one in July at the Cutting Rooms in Manchester and the latest in Newcastle in October <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Drive+Like+I+Do">Read more on Last.fm</a>.
