“All art has been contemporary.” DJ Rob Resnick has worked with many artists including Blade Brown, Timeflies, Cal Shapiro, and made beats for several other up and coming hip hop artists. He has DJ’ed at Boston’s nightclubs Venu and Rise, and spent last semester working at Sagra on Tuesdays and The Burren on Thursdays, both bars located in Davis Square. He most recently did a set at Moyo in Florence. For the past five years he has been composing and recording using, Ableton, Reason, ProTools, DP, and various other programs. Rob has studied classical and jazz piano, rock and jazz guitar, and jazz drums. Outside of DJing, Rob has been in many bands (genres spanning ska, metal, pop punk, and alternative), playing both guitar and drums. Currently, he plays drums in The Ride at Tufts, where he is double majoring in music and philosophy.
