We were born out of boredom originating during our college years in Northern VA. Drake got us all together, and then he broke a tooth and he left the band. We couldn't decide on being called "Dance Dance Fuck" or "el Capitan", so we decided to combine them, one sunny afternoon at Chow Hall, GMU. Adam didn't know how to play bass at the time, he still doesn't. We played our first at George Mason, Fairfax VA. The Resident Director walked out within 30 seconds. Sergio wore snakeskin pants, and at the end ran out of the building screaming "Snakes! Snakes!' He shouldn't have worn the pants. We played a lot of shows, and then went on a tour that actually turned out to be in a shape of a Dinosaur. The Catalyst sold us a van for this tour and we didn't know them. A lot of people thought we were from Richmond, but none of us lived there. We used to have a keyboardist named Joey, he is cute and cuddly. You can probably find him somewhere in Maryland playing Anniversary songs on his keyboard. We were a band for 1 year, 7 months, and 2 days. In that time we played 45 shows and had 5 songs.
