The Cops are Simon Carter vocals/guitar, Rebecca Darwon (Beck) bass/vocals, Nicholas Kennedy drums, Jarrod Murphy guitar/vocals, Todd Smith keyboard/synthesizer/vocals. The Cops' original line up also included Jimmy Stacks, Andrew Gilbert (who previously played with Carter in General Lee and Hush Honey) and Nick Kennedy (Big Heavy Stuff) .
