Banyuhay ni Heber is a folk rock group from the Philippines. All their songs are in the native Filipino language and focus on social issues that hamper the progress of the island nation of the Philippines. The group is led by accomplished musician Heber Bartolome. The word "Banyuhay" is a tagalog word meaning "Metamorphosis". From the site of Heber Bartolome: "I started writing Pinoy Rock songs in 1974, however, Banyuhay was born only in 1975 when I called my brothers Levi and Jesse to form a group and join a band competition called "Battle of the Bands".
