Genre: Troll Metal

It is debatable whether troll metal could be considered a real metal sub-genre or not, but the term is often used in a comedic manner. Troll metal itself, however, is a mixture of folk metal and black metal, with lyrical and thematic emphasis on trolls, mythical creatures from the Norse mythology and Scandinavian folklore.
