“Trap soul” is a new sub genre of r&b/soul music that is heavily influenced by the trap sub genre of hip hop. However trap music has different lyrical content than a lot of trap-soul songs, the beat of the song is pretty similar to what modern trap is. One of the biggest trap soul artists is Bryson Tiller. Tiller got popular off his debut album which was literally called “TRAPSOUL”.
